has been practising the art of hairdressing since 1980. She began to compete while working as a stylist and progressed from regional hairstyling competitions to those of the ABA and IBS. Her trophy shelf attests to her success in international competition. Through her affiliation with Eufora International, Dee continues to gather fresh ideas and share her expertise with others in the industry.She is passionate about the need for professionalism and continuing education in the hair industry.
In 1995, Dee launched Deeva Hair. As a stylist and salon owner, Dee is committed to providing her clients with only the highest quality technical and customer care. She is a superb colourist, technical haircutter and stylist. She has mastered the art of building, maintaining and advancing a clientele. Her clients love her and many have seen her since the days before Deeva Hair was established.

Competition:

Compete in Toronto ABA every year.  Won 1st place for Evening Elegant Make-up in 2008.  In 2009 represented North America in Messa Dusseldorf Make-up Championships and finished in 6th place. 
Was a finalist in 2006 for Contessa's Student Apprentice Stylist for the Year and semi-finalist 2007 for Make-up Artist of the Year. Won 1st place evening elegant make-up 2011. Won 1st place at Eufora Stylist of the year award in make-over category.

As well, sharing my knowledge and experience with my clients and building their trust." Since joining Deeva as a hairstylist apprentice in 2006, Shereen is living and learning "the Deeva way." Now she is seizing the opportunity to share the knowledge and tools that was given to her as the Lead Core Foundations Cutting Instructor at La Luma Academy in Guelph.

A member of the Deeva team since April 2009, started her journey in the hair industry  in 2004, and  obtained her license in 2006.  Moving to Deeva inspired Lydia to advance her career in an environment where she could thrive among other stylists who believe in integrity, passion, and education.  Lydia continuously shows her creativity by competing in various competitions.

Ever since I was a little girl I found my escape and joy sitting in front of the mirror and playing with hair.  I never dreamed that I would end up at a place as amazing as this.  I am so grateful to be part of Deeva, where we are not only a salon, but a family.  I am looking forward to continuing my education and entering many more competitions.
